LOCK DOWN CLOSURE. Tier 4 announcement as of midnight 30th December. Barley Mow Village Hall is closed to the public. Due to the announcement today (30th December) we will be in Tier 4 as of midnight. We regret any inconvenience caused to our groups, however, as you will be aware this is a situation which is out of our control.
As far as we are aware at the current time we will still be able to host Blood Doner sessions for the NHS during the period but any other activity is now NOT allowed.
Our employees will be furloughed during this period. Management will revert to the Hall Chairman and Secretary. If there are any queries please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The answerphone will also be monitored.
We hope all our users will stay safe over this challenging period and hope to see you back when we are able to reopen.
Once the reopening date is confirmed via government advice all bookings which have already been made by groups from the reopening date will resume.
Blood doner dates for January and February will be published here in the coming days.

AN ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING OUR UP AND COMING FACEBOOK ONLINE AUCTION!
We are now extending the original deadline and are accepting donations up to, and including, THURSDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2020.
The online Facebook Auction will now take place on SUNDAY 13TH DECEMBER 2020. Details of what we will be auctioning and how to bid will be announced closer to this date. In advance we can confirm that payment for successful bidders can now be made in cash, via bank transfer and via Paypal.
As we're in the midst of yet another lockdown we have decided to alter the date of the BMVH Facebook Auction AND the date for accepting and donations for said auction. We've had some lovely stuff kindly donated, thus far, to auction but would dearly love more donations of your unwanted stuff that could be used to raise desperately needed funds to keep us going during this most difficult of times.
It might be unwanted birthday or Christmas presents. It could be something that you just no longer want or use. It could be something surplus to requirements as a result of that clear out you've always planned to get round to. As long as it's in good condition, and you think might be appropriate to auction, then we would be very interested in hearing from you.
If you have something that you think might help, that's in good condition and that you are willing to donate then please contact us as soon as possible. You can drop donations off if you are able to. Or....give us a call on 0191 4105334. Or.... email us at email@example.com. Or.... let us know via Facebook directly below or in a pm. We will get back in touch as soon as possible and if it's something we can auction, and will fit in a car, can arrange to collect. Please don't be shy. All it takes is a phone call, an email or a Facebook message and we will do the rest.
We're doing the very best we can to ensure that Barley Mow Village Hall survives the current crisis and emerges better and stronger when the world returns to something resembling 'normality'. However we need the support of those in our community to help us out by donating and then bidding in the auction.
Thanking you all for your support.
